Welcome. This is a hands-on assessment: you'll work inside a real Odoo 15 database for a fictional restaurant, find what's wrong, fix it, and prove it. Everything you need is on this page.

Step 1 — Read your brief

The owner has written you a note describing his restaurant and his problems. Read it before you start — there is no checklist.

Step 2 — Log in to your workspace

This opens your own private database — nothing to choose.

Stuck, or something unclear? Inside your workspace, click the chat bubble in the top bar and message “Hiring Team” — we'll reply there.

We will not tell you which screens to use. Part of what we assess is whether you can turn the owner's problems into the right accounting and Odoo actions for a restaurant.

How your time is structured (about 3–3.5 hours)

30 min	Get oriented. Open a POS session, ring a few orders (cash, KNET, Visa, and a delivery/aggregator order), post a supplier bill.
90 min	Diagnose & fix (the core). Investigate the owner's complaints, fix issues by configuration, capture before/after evidence.
60 min	Design what's missing. Chart of accounts, branch reporting, payment/settlement, dish & recipe costing, freight/landed costs, wastage.
15 min	Write-up. Finalise your submission document.

A smaller amount done and proven beats a long list of unproven claims.

The key rule: it's not enough to fix something — you must prove it with before/after evidence (screenshots, menu paths, journal references).
